The Size of the Universe: Trying God on For Size

At first when I watched a video clip of 'The size of the Universe', I was totally BLOWN AWAY!!

OMG... it was extremely amazing. I haven't imagined that there are much more bigger plants than the Sun around universe. Of course universe is huge... (Just HUGE? Come on........)


VV Cephei A is one of the largest stars known, and believed to be the second largest star in the Milky Way after VY Canis Majoris and third largest known after the hypergiant WOH G64 in the Large Magellanic Cloud. It is of spectral type M2 and is poorly estimated at approximately 1,600–1,900 times the Sun's radius, or approximately 2,227,200,000 to 2,644,800,000 km across. If placed in the center of the solar system, the hypergiant would likely extend past the orbit of Jupiter and approach that of Saturn. VV Cephei is 275,000-575,000 times more luminous than the Sun.

This star has adiameter of about 2,800,000,000km. CAN YOU IMAGINE??? I can't...
I really wonder what is out there.. it's really... What can I say....

Communication Project # 11

Modern Technology, Robotics, Robot Soldiers, Predator Drones

In modern society, the technologies are becoming much detailed and developed. Many countries are putting their efforts to develop technologies for Robotics, Robot Soldiers, Predator Drones. In fact, the South Korean government has managed to miss all of the Terminator films as they have announced a new program intended to develop robotic "soldiers" that promises to bring us one step closer to machine-led Armageddon. The joint project between the ministries of defense and information and communication will attempt to build an army of six- or eight-legged (or wheeled) killbots intended to do the dirty work that we humans are now too good for. These full-sized, insect-like robots will be used to scurry around battlefields, detecting landmines and unleashing a hail of firepower on unsuspecting, technologically-backwards enemies.

To me, sending robot soldiers or predator drones instead of actual human soldiers is a better idea. Human-beings have only one life and it ends, everything ends together. If there is a dangerous situation like digging up the landmine or bomb decommission, robot soldiers can be sent instead of human.

However, there can be a negative effect in Robot soilders or drones.

People are sending a nuclear weapon or bomb using these robots and killing others. Terror is not only defined as human behavior also killing mass people through any ohter process. Therefore, people should be aware to think about robotics and using robots.

PSY - Dust bowl

The most visible evidence of how dry the 1930s became was the dust storm. Tons of topsoil were blown off barren fields and carried in storm clouds for hundreds of miles. Technically, the driest region of the Plains – southeastern Colorado, southwest Kansas and the panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas – became known as the Dust Bowl, and many dust storms started there. But the entire region, and eventually the entire country, was affected.

between 1930 and 1940, severe drought coupled with decades of extensive farming without crop rotation, fallow fields, cover crops or other techniques to prevent erosion, led to major ecological and agricultural damage to American and Canadian prairie lands. Millions of acres of farmland became useless, and hundreds of thousands of people were forced to leave their homes.

1. What do you think about this sentence? - Men can never be free, because they are weak, corrupt, worthless and restless....

In my opinion, men cannot be free, it doesn't mean that men have no right or freedom to talk, know, or live, but it means that people are not free from society. Basically men are pack animals. they like to belong in group and it could make them feel safe and comfortable. If men are free from everywhere they belong to, they will hasitate. Men need regulations and orders to keep the society stable and relaxed.

However, Caleb brought opposite opinion that human can be free. He said that everyone has a different perception of freedom and for some people, living in a society which law controls. and he thinks that people can be free or not depends on how they think and act.

2. When men cease to see miracles from God, do they lose their faith in God?

If you are a christian, when you experience something and you might think that is a miracle that God showed us. However, if you are not a christian, you will think that it is just a fortune that you have and never consider as a miracle from God. I think it depends on someone's belief, either believe in God and consider many things as miracle or just consider it as a fortune.

In addition, if you have strong belief in God, people don't have to see miracle from God because that strength which believers have for him could be strong enough to hold their belief.
